Checkerpot Rose

For over 20 years, the artisans at Motawi Tileworks have hand-crafted art tile. These distinctive tiles are known for their rich glazes and uniquely American designs inspired by nature, art, and architecture. This design by Dard Hunter, a papermaker who helped define the American Arts & Crafts movement, was adapted from a book cover he created in the early 1900s.
