This one-of-a-kind table is built of old-growth Douglas fir once used in a long closed vinegar factory in downstate Illinois. In fact, this is the wood salvaged from the vinegar vats themselves. The factory was closed in 1958 and the wood has been drying ever since.
Please Note: Due to the vintage nature of this lumber and its unusually thick dimension, hairline cracks may develop over time. This is to be expected as the result of moisture and temperature changes and should be considered a beautiful complement to the distressed finish of this furniture.
