Annie Morhauser

Annie Morhauser, with her team of artisans at Annieglass, creates imaginative and unique glasswork that is known for its beauty as well as its quality and strength. Every piece is handcrafted using a sustainable, unique process pioneered by Annie and is proudly hand-engraved with the studio signature.

Select collections of Annie’s glass are made from architectural glass sheets, hand painted with 24k gold or genuine platinum. Time in a high temperature kiln permanently fuses the precious metals to the glass as the glass “slumps” into the shape of a handcrafted mold. The result is a translucent textured finish that is remarkably durable, tarnish and chip resistant, and dishwasher safe.

Annie is recognized for her innovative contributions to American craft. Her work can be found on permanent display in the Luce Foundation Collection of American Craft at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C.
