Al & Sylvia Stephens

The hand-forged work of Al and Sylvia Stephens of Pequea Valley Forge are a true synergy of tradition and modern ingenuity. Al first learned his craft as a volunteer at an historic 19th century blacksmith shop equipped with bellows, coal forge, anvil, and vise. His passion grew to a full time calling, blending the ancient craft of blacksmithing with a modern sense of style and function. Today he makes contemporary, one-of-a-kind wrought iron candle holders, candlesticks, cheese servers, and other home accessories from recycled steel.
